Tyra was a sweetheart and a friend to all of us and we'd like to honor her life and the 20-some years we had with her.
We're asking all of you to come to the BBQ on Saturday, June 19th with a memory and/or photo of you and Tyra to place in a memory book that we will give to her parents, Norm and Mahashka Engeland.
Just begin thinking about some of your favorite memories of Tyra, memories that you would like to share with her parents and family. Feel free to bring the memory already written up or typed out to the BBQ. We'll also have pen and paper at the BBQ and you can write an impromptu memory there as well.
Any photos you have of Tyra, or copies of photos, would also be a great addition to the memory book.
The idea is to honor Tyra, so please feel free to submit anything (story, photo, memento, joke, a valentine she wrote you in the second grade . . .) that captures what Tyra meant to you. The more you have to share, the merrier.
